Pillars of Light Annual Giving Campaign

We offer our deepest gratitude to all the generous donors who continue to support our Pillars of Light Annual Giving Campaign. Under the leadership of Gary Jacobs and David Wax, the Pillars Campaign has become a model for other agencies across the country. Now on its fifth year, the Pillars Campaign goal for this fiscal year is to raise $1.4 million to ensure the continued growth, strength and vitality of the JCC programs benefiting the San Diego community.

The Pillars Campaign consolidates donor giving into a one-time integrated ask with the choice of a multi-year commitment. Donors are able to designate their gift to the programs and areas of their choice. These designations reach all corners of our agency.

JCC Tribute Card Program

Recognize a birthday, wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, anniversary, life achievement or honor the memory of a loved one with our beautiful tribute cards (minimum $18 donation).

• Call us and we will send out a card with your personalized message on your behalf. You may designate your tribute gift to a JCC program of your choosing.
   ~ OR ~
• Purchase a box of 10 cards and send them out at your convenience.

When you send a tribute, you are supporting the vital programs and services of the JCC.

David & Dorothea Garfield Theatre Tribute Seat Program

A lasting way to recognize, honor or memorialize your loved ones in perpetuity on a theatre seat plaque for an $1,800 gift.

All proceeds benefit the daily operations of the JCC as well as the Theatre Endowment Fund.

Each tribute seat may be named by an individual, family, or shared by a group of donors.

Grant Incentive Program

Establish a Donor Advised Fund at the Jewish Community Foundation with a minimum $10,000 balance to manage your giving and we will match your first grant up to $1,000 to any Jewish organization.
