May Pool Special Events Schedule

During the month of May, we have a few special events that will interrupt our regular pool hours. The following days are affected for the month. We will have no subsequent special events affecting regular pool hours until July. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Lap lanes are available during operating hours. Please refer to the pool schedule for lane availability. This pool is kept at 81 degrees. Swim diapers and plastic pants are required for all swimmers who are under the age of 4 years. No diving or jumping off the blocks unless supervised by a JCC swim instructor or coach. Diving boards are open during the summer months only. Outdoor Spa is for members 5 years and older, children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and the Children’s Pool is for the use of parents and children 5 years and under. Children who are not potty-trained must wear swim diapers, plastic pants and a bathing suit. An adult must supervise children, who are under the age of 15, at all times.

Have Your Next Party at the JCC Pool!

Birthday parties, family events or just a day in the sun is always welcome at the JCC pool. Pool rentals are held on the weekdays or weekends with access to the large pool, children's pool and spa. Individual lane rentals may also be available. Please see the attached pool rental application for reservations. Swim Lessons for Children & Adults

Private Swim Lessons
Private lessons are an outstanding way to further your child’s swimming ability at his/her own pace. A private lesson allows for individual attention through one-on-one instruction.  Instructors will design the lesson to fit your swimmer’s needs and learning style. Please sign up at least two weeks before you want the first private lesson to begin. Students will receive eight 25 minute lessons.

The Lawrence Family JCC offers private 1-on-1 swim lessons, taught by American Red Cross Certified Swim Instructors. Each lesson is catered to the students specific goals. Lessons are offered for everyone between the ages of 6 months-adult. Lessons will be scheduled twice a week for four weeks. All swim lesson times will range from 1 pm - 7 pm. Please see schedule below for session dates.

Adult Water Polo League

Looking to learn the sport of water polo as an adult, or have you played water polo in your youth and are looking to continue playing? This program is for first timers as well as seasoned veterans. Each night will consist of practice of skills as well as a scrimmage game.
