Triathlon/Duathlon Training Camp for Beginners

Coach William Hansen is a multisport athlete, runner,
and JCC master swim coach with over 20 years of
activity in various sports including racing, BMX
cycling, speed skating, downhill ski racing and
motorsports. Will, a Presidential Fitness Award
recipient, has in depth experience in overall training
with a keen ability to communicate and coach in
an effective, easy and fun manner to help anyone
reach their goals regardless of athletic background
or age. You can use this program for overall conditioning
or to prepare for a race. Minimum of 6 to
start program.
Our 8 week program will help you establish and maintain a strong foundation in the
three events for the Seal Sprint II on March 18, 2012. The Triathlon is a 500 meter
swim, 20K bike and a 6K run. Your training plan includes:
- Brick workouts
- Biomechanics and
strength condition
to prevent injury
- Bike set up and
properfit of a bike
- Running and heart
rate training
- Transitions
- Setting a training schedule
- Sport nutrition
